Remembrance: EPA's 10th Anniversary

  • Time to read less than 1 minute

2005 and June in particular were marked by EPA's largest 10th anniversary event to date.

Our "European Police Week" organised for the occasion was also part of Belgium's 175th anniversary and 25 years of federalism in the country.
It was an opportunity to welcome delegations from Romania, Portugal, Greece, Poland, Italy,...

The European Police Week was officially inaugurated on 28 June 2005 with a wreath laying at the Unknown Soldier in Brussels, but the highlights were undoubtedly the tattoos on the Brussels Grand-Place, that of Nivelles, and in Strépy-Bracquenies and Mechelen with the harmonies of the Antwerp and Polish Police, the harmony of Belgian finances (Customs) and the famous Hellenic Police Band, all under the direction of Commissioner Richard Bontinckx, coordinator of the various parades and concerts.

Demonstrations of the federal police and various animations of the local police forces were also on the program.

We propose you a souvenir album of these festivities...
