I would like to thank all our colleagues in the European community who have worked professionally in the measures to combat Covid-19.
Thank you also to all those in the health care sector who have faced and fought with zeal to save, care for, relieve and give hope to citizens affected by Covid-19, to the detriment of their lives, their quality of life and their families.
May they all be thanked for their efforts.
As you know, since March 14, we have all been living in confinement to fight the invisible enemy that is the Coronavirus. Deconfinement is currently the order of the day and little by little we will return to our normal routine, or at least we will try.
This situation has been very embarrassing for us as we were forced to cancel the planned trip to Serbia for our 25th anniversary.
Fortunately, the collaboration of our Serbian national delegate, Lazar ODZIC, who did everything possible to ensure that all participants could be reimbursed for the deposit paid. We would like to thank him warmly for this. It is of course our intention, as soon as possible, to organize this trip to Serbia.
In this respect, the Board of Directors has considered the feasibility of suggesting postponing our trip to Rome in 2022 instead of 2021 as previously announced.
Contact having been made with the Italian delegation, they agreed to postpone our trip to Rome by one year. Contact has also been made with our Serbian delegate who gladly accepted the organization of the trip to Serbia in 2021.
Before sealing this decision, we would like to know your feeling by sending us an email by June 21, 2020 at the latest.
As for our traditional one-day trip, given the constraints encountered in the framework of the barrier and distancing measures imposed, we are not in a position to organise a group trip or guarantee that the restaurants will be able to accommodate us.
We hope that we will be able to organize our traditional autumn banquet.
